Calling this a 'restaurant' review might be somewhat of a misnomer as K&A Coffee House is actually more of a Cafeteria than a restaurant. Nevertheless, this Kenyan working class cafeteria serves up fresh hot coffee and very inexpensive but good local food offerings from 7am to 5pm daily except on Sundays.

Yes, you can pay 3x more for cup of coffee at one of the western style coffee shops around town but why would you? And the best part of K&A is the staff! Considerably more 'senior' than one would expect to find elsewhere, they are friendly, efficient and if you come in more than once they'll remember you! Conveniently located behind the 680 hotel on Koinange Street, K&A comes highly recommended by us for what it is.
